Production photos from Phillip Noyce’s spy thriller, Salt, were revealed by Sony Pictures. Angelina Jolie, who stars in the film, plays a CIA officer who is ousted as a Russian sleeper spy. She must avoid getting captured by her CIA colleagues, who suspect that she wants to assassinate the president.
Salt was supposed to originally be a star vehicle for Tom Cruise. Co-scripted by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland from Wimmer’s story idea, Sony hopes that the film appeals to action lovers who flocked to see Jolie in Wanted
